plug: 30 minutes of relaxing visuals from Studio Ghibli (2020)
Sometimes I don't feel like watching something.
Welcome to today’s plug, a quick recommendation of an oft-forgotten film, cult classic, or movie that is dying to be rewatched // We send plugs every Tuesday + Thursday //
2020 was a brutally-long year, I know. So I hope this plug finds you well.
I’ve been wondering if the exhaustion and distraction I seem to always feel will ever go away. I’m not convinced it will, but I suspect that’s the feeling doing it’s work on me. Maybe things will change and I will grow and get better.
I don’t know. I’ll get back to you on that one.
I really mean it when I say “I hope this plug finds you well.” I think about you all reading this. Andy and I talk about it sometimes. “I think they’ll like it,” we’ll sometimes say. “I hope they like it,” we’ll say some other times. Sometimes some of you respond to these emails or text me and it makes me happy. Thanks for that.
Honestly, I didn’t really feel like doing a plug. Not because I don’t want to send you all something (I do) but because I don’t really feel like watching anything and then talking about it. I’m still editing a podcast we recorded before New Years and can’t bring myself to finish it. Sorry about that, but I think you’ll like it when it comes out.
Anyway, I stumbled on this video titled 30 Minutes of Relaxing Visuals from Studio Ghibli on HBO Max’s YouTube channel and it delivers exactly what it promises.
I’ve watched it a few times and it really is relaxing. I hope you like it.
