A call for that thing that makes a movie pop, stick with you, open up new caverns of thought, feeling, empathy, pleasure, awareness. Give me evil, sexy Hamlet. See, movies are dreams — captured by technology from the raw material of spent time, brought back into waking life. Cinema: the sum total dreamscape — the great netherworld refraction of our collective interior and exterior consciousness. Insightful expression and escapist entertainment at once. Always. And more potent in this duality than any other artform. Gimme that singular indescribable mind-and-heart-expanding techno-trip that is cinema! Gimme evil sexy hamlet!!
